America will be offering the last prayers of the day
As I write this I've just come from a short prayer session with six friends. We just prayed through the topics for Day 8, regarding Christ's glory amidst persecuted believers. Our prayers were simple. The significance was vast. We weren't self-conscious about praying with millions of others, but it was wonderful to realize that God is really hearing from His people in these days.
As we gather locally in our communities this weekend, we will be praying globally with believers from 212 countries. The prayer guides you are using have been translated into 44 languages. People will be praying in many more languages. How significant to be praying like this on Pentecost!
Because of the way time zones work, America will be offering the last prayers of the day. I think it's very important for leaders like you to announce to the people you are praying with—whether they are six friends in an office or sixty thousand in a stadium—that we are joining our prayers with millions of others around the world.
