My Dear Christian Brothers & Sisters,
On behalf of our family and the entire Prayer Force One staff, Sandy and I wanted to write and wish you very Merry Christ-filled American Christmas. 
While none of us can possibly know what the future holds, because Christ came, we know who holds the future. Blessed be the name of Jesus.
"And thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins." (Matthew 1:21) "For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is CHRIST THE LORD." (Luke 2:11)
In keeping with our Prayer Force One , "presidential" theme, we thought it might be a blessing to include a couple of appropriate comments that several of our presidents made concerning Christmas. It is our prayer that this emphasis will serve to underscore the vital importance of the Christian heritage of our nation. 
On October 28, 1944, during the closing days of WWII, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt wisely stated:
" 'Peace on earth, good will toward men.' Democracy must cling to that message. For it is my deep conviction that democracy cannot live without that true religion which gives a nation that sense of justice and moral purpose." 
In 1950, during the dark days of the Korean War, and as he lit The White House Christmas tree, President Harry S. Truman boldly reminded us that:
"At this time, we should renew our faith in God. We celebrate the hour in which God came to man. It is fitting that we should turn to Him. But there are many others who are away from their homes and their loved ones on this day. Thousands of our boys are on the cold and dreary battlefield of Korea. But all of us, at home, at war, wherever we may be, are within reach of God's love and power. We can all pray. We should all pray."
Prayer Force One is dedicated to the expressed sentiment of these and other presidents. 
As I write this Christmas greeting, it is very cold outside. I am sitting at my cozy prayer closet desk listening to The Nutcracker. By God's grace, all six of our children, their husbands and wives and our eleven grandchildren will be home for Christmas. I am mindful of God's loving watch care and mercy upon our lives, and upon the life of our nation. My heart is full of humble gratitude for God's kindness and blessings. 
May we as a nation, always "cling" to "that true religion" without which, we cannot survive. As always, we again invite you to go to the Christmas White House right now to pray. To do this, just click on the photo above.
